Lucasade
Hi guys. I'll be moving over to the UK for about year on the 15th of May. I'll be doing a bit of travelling before settling down, but I was just wondering if there is anywhere where I can try out a Wal bass? I've got to try out every brand of bass I've wanted to try except Wal, as they are extremely rare in Australia. My only experiences with them, is hearing them on Tool, Rush and Porcupine Tree albums and I've always loved the sound. Is there anywhere that usually stocks them or can you actually go to Wal directly and play one? Cheers, Luke.
dannybuoy
I would contact then directly and ask - I have heard from people that have paid them a visit to check out their wares: http://www.walbasses.co.uk/Contact%20us Otherwise there are places like the Bass Gallery and Bass Direct which might have a used one in from time to time: http://thebassgallery.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?manufacturer=356&q=wal

gary mac
There might be one of the Bass Chat regional bass bashes that you could get along to, with fair chance of encountering a Wal.
simonlittle
They've got a couple at The Gallery at the moment. They usually have at least one in so you should head over there once you arrive!
CamdenRob
I think the gallery only has leftys at the moment... although they might still have Pinos midi MKI. As mentioned above a BC bash would probably be your best bet.
