Vintage Trace Elliot GP11 Head & Cab FS/FT (will split) £250

I have up for sale a vintage (80s?) Trace Elliot GP11 head, taken from a combo, and a Marshall 15" bass cab, with a Trace Elliot driver (from same aforementioned combo). Selling because I'm after an Orange Bass Terror head to go with my Ashdown Superfly 212 cab.

Fantastic sounding amp and cab!

The head has just had a full repair and service, so is working beautifully again!

Cab works well, just a mark to the front tolex. Beautiful sound.

Amp has had a purpose built unit, covered in green tolex to (somewhat) match the faceplate.


Selling the cab for £120, and head for £180, due to its recent service.

Head is 150w @ 8ohms, and the cab runs at 8ohms, up to 200w handling.

Based just outside Cardiff, South Wales. Prefer collection due to the weight of the items, but can post at buyers expense and risk. Items would be well packaged obviously!

I had one of those heads years ago. My favourite sounding amp that I've ever used, and I've used a lot.

It certainly is a beautiful sounding setup! It's just a shame I haven't even got the money to get it fixed before selling, so has to go as-is!

I think you'll find the head is 150W into 4 ohms

I think you'll find it isn't. The driver is 8ohms...that was once in the same unit as the head. Here's a better quality pic of the back of the head:

New amp repair and service bump!

Just had the head completely repaired and fully serviced, so it's all up and running like a charm. Price adjusted to factor this in.

Won't argue with the outputs, I've had loads ( pardon the pun). Still got AH200' SMX300 and AH250 V.

Used this in the studio to record my band's next single today, and it has SUCH a beautiful tone to it. I'd keep it if I didn't need the money!

Prices dropped, will take £300 for the whole shebang, or open to offers on it!
