I bought these when I was planning to build my own U-Bass - a project that never got off the starting blocks.

So here's a chance to steal a deal on some brand new Pahoehoe Dreads - Coloured strings for a U-Bass.

I really have no idea. But for £20 posted they're yours and you get a low cost, low hassle way to try them. And get a great wacky look too.

Hmm, another question you may not know the answer to Grangur (apols)
But are these a higher tension than the usual strings that come on a Kala U-Bass?
I recently bought a Kala

It's great, and I'm sure I'll get used to the strings eventually,
but I do find the very low tension a bit offputting....

If they do indeed have a slightly higher tension, I may well go for these

I can only tell you what's written on the package. This says "Regular tension - 20" to 21" scale: Big Bufo, Baby Bufo, Semi-hollow Bass and Kala U-Bass".

I can't tell you if what you have already is graded as low tension or regular. But if it's a different maker then they too might have different ideas. All I can promise you is buying these is a low cost way of trying some out.
