inmate1571
Hi i'm looking to get together with some like-minded, forty somethings to play some covers and see where it goes. I've been back playing two years and realised i've never played in front of an audience so i'm thinking if not now..when? Not looking to set the music world alight (at 45 thats a pretty safe bet) Just looking to play some grooves and have some fun. Kind of in a commercial reggae/ska phase at the moment (Marley, Police, Madness) but can play some Hendrix, Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Doors, Cream, James Brown, Led Zep, Jeff Buckley, Small Faces, Beatles, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac (mk I & II) Smiths, Stones, Gil Scott Heron, Pretenders, Blondie, Jam, Jamiroquai. Blues...soul...rock...some funk...the usual stuff us olde folks go for. :-) I live in Hednesford near Cannock but work in Brum so anyone located in South Staffs/Birmingham/Wolverhampton would be good. Also I work for JLR so my shifts can be a bit restricting, although I do have weekends free and can rehearse some days in the week. Own bass gear and can travel. Please PM me if you're interested Cheers Andy. Edited July 30, 2015 by inmate1571
