felixxx Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) Hi guys, I have a question. I just got a Mesa Walkabout head from a fellow Aussie. And it happens that he also has this vintage Mesa head case that he is willing to sell, while I am not so sure about it. It does look good and gives great protection to the head, but on the other side it is kinda heavy and adds a lot of bulk. What would you do? Edited April 28, 2015 by felixxx Quote
fretmeister Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 It's an ugly thing and weighs too much. Quote
funky8884 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 So I'm not the only Aussie in the village ? Quote
Nodd Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I'm in the 'No' camp too. A decent gig bag and you're done. It's built like a tank, but easy to handle without the head case. Quote
JapanAxe Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015
It's an ugly thing and weighs too much.
I concur. Quote
funky8884 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I used a gator bag for transporting my walkabout and it was great ! Quote
felixxx Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Thanks guys. It does look like too much case for the head. I think I'll pass on this. Quote
