Me neither, I'm after a SD Antiquity 2 pickup for my Precision and it's more than double the price of buying one from the US on Ebay, even after paying VAT and import duty it would be a darn sight cheaper from America, it doesn't make sense!

Surely Rosetti are the distributers so they send to GAK? Am I wrong?

@Rumple. I called Rosetti and they will not sell direct and the prices on their site are the RRP, I was told to go to a Seymour dealer and get them to order it for me

Fair enough I guess but if it were me and you don't mind the wait I'd order from the US, it's less then £90 including delivery on Ebay, if you do get stung for VAT, import duty and the Parcelforce handling fee it's still going to cheaper if it sneaks through you have yourself a bargain :) I understand though that some people don't like doing that as it does make returns a bit of a 'mare should there be a fault with the item.

I have a friend who owns a music shop, I'm getting a price for my bit, if you want I can ask him to give me a price if you get me the model no. I can't promise anything but he usually gives me trade prices

Very kind of you, not a problem if it doesn't come to anything.

Here's what I'm after.

Thanks for asking your mate.

I usually get my hard to find pickups from Best Bass Gear in the USA

Fast cheap shipping and even with VAT and import it's usually a little cheaper.
