Annoying Twit Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I once contacted a seller of a Westone Thunder who was saying "RARE RARE RARE". They said that it was rare compared to a Squier. There were about six Thunders up on eBay at that time. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) Err, I thought the "Duncan Designed" pickups came as standard ( they did on the 5er I had of these) although they have been dropped now. Oh, and why are the pickups called "extras" in the listing title, most Basses I have bought have had them fitted as standard....? Edited May 2, 2015 by yorks5stringer Quote

It's probably the only bass from that price range in the 1980s to still appear with the regularity it does. Quote
tauzero Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015
Aren't people just seeding the auction title with words that people search for ? A bit like when you see 'not Ampeg, not Trace Elliot, etc ' in the title for a bass amp auction to draw people in who have searched for those makes ? It's sneaky !
And it backfires if I (as any sensible person would) put "-fender" into my search to exclude all Fenders. Quote
