rodney72a Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Some more pics from the Gitarre & Bass magazine shoot (07/2003) - these were obviously taken when the instrument was in new condition. It has some wear now. mrbassman_de Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I used to own this particular Grosh a while ago. It's a great Fender-ish 5er with a huge low B and a rich and articulate midrange. Good luck with the sale.
fingerz Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 These are quite uncommon in the uk. A friend of mine has one on a show in the west end - the neck and feel of the instrument is really one of the best I've played. Similar feel to my Celinder neck which is just incredible. I imagine those di marzio pups give it a nice growl. I just thought I'd chime in for any uk buyers interested, to recommend this bass as it's less heard of. Right up there with Alleva, Celinder, Sadowsky and the rest in my humble opinion. Good luck with the sale!
rodney72a Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Thanks for your kind words, guys. It really is a superb instrument.
lowregisterhead Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I played a similar model that they had up for sale in The Gallery a couple of years ago, that had belonged to John Giblin. Beautifully made, and felt really solid and substantial. I wish I had bought it! GLWTS.
louisthebass Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 That is an absolutely stunning looking bass . Whoever buys that will be getting a terrific instrument! GLWTS
TheGreek Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Love the quilted Maple top...surprising that this is still here TBH...GLWYS
