alyctes Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I have a P-ish body which is Shoreline Gold (or close to it). It will have a J-width neck and P-J Bartolinis, and I think it needs a scratchplate. What colour should the plate be? Quote
gsgbass Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I'd have to go with Andy Travis, the Tort with the Shoreline Gold (or close to it). Quote
PlungerModerno Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 It should be . . . Your favourite Colour! But if it doesn't suit, or you don't really have a favourite . . . Here's some linkages: Quote
taha_never Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 if the body is in a warmer gold (closer to orange/yellow) go with a cooler color (mint is the best IMO). if its closer to silver/gray go with tort which is warmer. black fits the grayer body too. IMO Quote
