Just wondering if anyone had used bestbassgear.com & if so what were they like in terms of delivery time & cost?
I'm looking for a Hipshot bridge but can't find one with the correct string spacing in the UK.

Thanks for that man, I just saw the free delivery & now you've said they're good I'll put my order in. 40 quid for a Hipshot Vintage 5 string can't be bad :-)

I've had pickups and preamps from them without any trouble.

They are great. Really nice people and super efficient.

Shipping is in the lap of the Gods though. I've received things in just a few days and others that have taken weeks.

It's not their fault, just the combination of US/UK postal services and customs.

I've always been hit with customs and handling charges so don't forget to take those into account.

I've never had a problem from them and I've had hardware and pickups from them several times. As the others have said, you are at the mercy of customs and postage times though

So it appears bestbassgear did their job & my bridge was delivered last Wednesday.
Where it was delivered is anybody's guess, Royal Mail have told me they will investigate & it will take 72 hrs then they have 7 days to inform me of their findings.
It has gone through the local sorting office so it shouldn't be miles away but I doubt it'll ever find its way here :-(
