stingrayfan
What you got then? I'm talking old school green break-your-back stuff like this bad boy: And this, my 1984 1110 combo. Serial no. 002. So old that it has toggle switches like a 60s car. Sounds great though: Edited August 23, 2008 by stingrayfan

budget bassist
I want a trace elliot rig i just want a 7 band graphic... *sigh* and of course that trace elliot tone
Stingray5
Maybe not entirely the usual configuration bass rig, regarding the combo and extension speaker, though I do vary whether I have the combo on top or bottom depending on venue etc. I know the 15" speaker traditionally should be at the bottom but I prefer the controls at the top. Besides, as it is, the sound is pretty awesome either way. (sold the 1x15 last month, yet to build its replacement which will be almost the same size as the 4x8 cab...) Deep Thought
Oooh, me, me! 1998 7215 SMC 300 watt 1X15 combo (plus Hartke transporter 4X10 extension cab). Does the trick for me very nicely. Sure I'd like a more expensive rig, but this is perfectly adequate. I also find it quite pleasantly compact, and not excessively heavy, but then I'm just hard. Is that a 15" with a horn/tweeter? So, that would be a 200 watt valve amp in there? Wonder what it would sound like with an extension cab. Better pics please.
MythSte
15 with horn indeed! and there be 200 watts worth of valves! An extension cab is DEFINATELY necessary, no matter what guitarists/drummer/singer/synthists/girlfriends tell me.
Kiwi
oh blimey another one I can contribute to... I might try and get DrPepperUK back and see if he can post some of his amps. I believe he's still got a hexavalve...
