Ok I'm back again lol... :)

As this is in fact a porn thread, I thought one on top of the other might be nice ;)

I've got two AH250's here. A Mark V in fabulous condition and an older Mark IV that's seen better days lol  (needs looking at by an amp tech really)

The older one had the UV ripped out of it by a previous owner, so I made my own out of a triangular strip of wood and a UV LED lighting strip (this has it's own separate power supply - would love to know how to hook it up inside the amp itself but i've not got a clue, best left to the pros)

Here's the cache, updated...

The Commando is a surprise... the sealed cab is actually not my preference, but apparently it's a useful way to create a powerful, tight-sounding, loud-in-the-mix 150w combo. It's my regular gig-amp now.

Nice heads there- I had a Mk IV, sold it for family-investment reasons... my eldest plays harp, and she needed one, so it went toward that. Miss it, but it's for the cause. B)

Updated rig :) 1153 with a 300 watt eminence, 2x10 is a 2103x (apparently), but it's running 2 200watt celestions with 2 50 watt 5"s, even though I thought the 2103 is a 300 watt cab? Either way, bloody loud! :D

Had to contribute.

This is my setup as it was two weeks ago.

AH150-7 and 1153.

More pics in a day or two when the final piece of the jigsaw finally slots home. A 2102.

All in matching green carpet.

Can hardly wait, will be going for a tall and skinny stack rather than a low and wide one.

This the cab I'm waiting on arriving.

Still love the Trace stuff.

For what its worth this was my rig many many years ago
a really old GP11 series 2 with the original hard wood case UV light and giant fan plus a series 6 200 watt head(not pictured)
a 1018 1x18 cab which sounded great and a multi stack 2x10 on the top which I used to give to our drummer on gigs
the GP11 used to break down a lot so I replaced it with a Peavey Firebass 700 which turned the rig into a monster
sorry bout picture quality its a scan of a photo

2 cool Trace Elliot Rigs I own. B)
But I might be parting with them...

Trace Elliot MP11 & RA 500 SuperX: the legendary and rare programmable preamp with foot-controller plus its matching 2x250 Watts stereo power amp. Very loud. Not a digital little noise making box.
Trace Elliot VA350 Valve Head: an all tube preamp + the unparalleled GP11 preamp controlling a switchable 80/160/350 Watts all tube power-amp. The most versatile and reliable tube-amp built by TE.
Trace Elliot Multistack 2102 & 1182: hard to find wedge shaped cabinets, to be used stand alone or in any combination, providing punchy sound from behind when stacked or in front of you, used as bass-monitors. Versatile in set-up and much easier to move around than a 4x10.

I seem not to be able to upload images, but here´s a link for you:

Allow me to introduce my '80s nostalgia Trace Elliot rig:

It's made up of an MP11 digital graphic equaliser pre-amp, a (heavy!) RA500sx power-amp, and a 1518c cabinet.

I don't think I'll do much gigging with the cabinet, but I'm sure at some point I'll use the head instead of my GB Shuttle.

I guess ultimately it would be good to add a 4x10" cabinet, but I'm not sure if my back could take the heavy lifting!

Here's my Tracey Series 6 AH500X w/GP12 PreAmp and 4x10 (sans horn) Redline Cab. I paid about £172 for both the amp and cab because it was on Ebay and no one wanted to pay the shipping. The guy was local and said I could just come and get it. :D

Hi guys i'm new to this site, joind today after finding an ah1000 picie on a google search, and i have to say there are some great TE's on here. I have an RAH1000 With the matching BFC cab. i also have the old 8x10" too. I've just had my amp serviced and the guys in essex have told me that this RAH1000 was a prototype and the designers have said that it shouldn't have really been released! does anyone out there know any more info on this model of TE? I'd love to find others with this amp as i'm sterting to think i may be the only person that still has a working one! :) Anyhoo i love TE amps and i don't think i'd ever use anything else.

That thing is a monster. Looks light too. ;)

Actually I bet the head STILL weighs more than the cab.

New purchase courtesy of Bloc Riff Nut. Not found out how loud it is but for a 400 watt valve amp made by Trace Elliot its lighter than expected.

Here's my Trace Elliot Series 6 GP7 715S combo. And my cat.

Built in 1991 I think, owned by me since around 1995. Just bought myself a Markbass/Aguilar rig, so soon to be listed in the For Sale forum. (The amp, not the cat.)

The cat is awesome. Oh and a nice rig too. :)

I A / B against the Ashton the other day and found the results very interesting. The Trace has a lovely hollow / transparent thing going on whereas the Ashton is altogether 'thicker' and probably a bit more real world but which do I prefer? I'm not sure! Looks like I'll keep the Ashton and buy the Trace and have the best of both worlds!

I'm not usually that interested in valve amps...but that Twin combo looks like a very handy little amp, and in good condition (compared to lot of the TE stuff that's still around)

It's a little stunner, one of the best amps I've plugged into for years. Sounds great and is very loud given its conservative 100 or so watts rating. This example is very clean with next to no marks on the covering or grille. :D
