tonyquipment
NOW it weighs a tonne!! seriously loud. as i was playing, i was looking at the dials of the 4x10 to see what preset i had put....couldnt actually focus on it because the sound was distorting my vision, it was moving the air or shaking my eyeballs. either way, it felt goooooood. DiMarco
My 2000ad Trace AH300 12 GP12 is at the shop for fixing a nasty 50hz buzz. Its previous owner decided to neglect it and take it apart, half the screws for putting it together were missing and its outer hull is gone too. I just have the 19" iron box and a 100% functioning amp. Decided to fully restore it to its former glory so ordered me a brand new front panel at British Audio and rebuild its case by hand. In the mean time here's some photoshop pr0n for the meanest pre-amp in history of bass. Edited June 22, 2013 by DiMarco

VTypeV4
Love 'em dude! My old 4808 combo was fitted with the later 300w Clive Button power stage after it's original Bi-Polar Bear went bang. It worked pretty much flawlessly except I had to put the big fan-controlling transistor next to the fan as it used to roast and shut the board down. Never experienced any issues after.. DiMarco
Mine was actually manufactured somewhere around '99 or 2000. It has green rat fur. Sounds really good though! I picked it up this morning.

I'm gonna pull it apart this week and give it a dust out so whilst it's in bits i'll take some better ones of it's gubbins. It's great little amp, sounds awesome and is surprisingly loud.
