Before and after shots............

My original all Trace set up followed by my latest, an AH300-7 head with a Barefaced Super 12.

All the gear shown (except for the Stingray) purchased from, and following the advice of the very fine persons of this site 😍.

G E N E R A T I O N S - Which do you prefer? The great SMX series or the later models with GP12X pre? Or do you maybe prefer the even earlier Mk.V or Series 6? IMHO still nothing beats the SMX range of amps.

1524T cab got tweetered and stuffed with foam today for a tighter tone.











Eminence tweeter (APT80), LPAD and 12db/oct filter @ 5khz.
I am very happy so far, tweeter is nice and transparent in the now snappy tone.
Have to dial in the Lpad further or use EQ above 5khz to make the tweeter go all Marcus Miller on me (which I do not want).
