There are always a couple of 7 page long nightmare charts with no bars rest or convenient page turns! Quote
Delberthot Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 It's been many a year since I played in a big band but my first gig with a big band at the tender age of 17 was for the 50th anniversary of El Alamein in 1993. I was fortunate to play with a lot of great guys who had been playing since after the war. Fantastic players with some fantastic stories. I learned a hell of a lot during my time with them Quote
deepbass5 Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) mmmm In Cork with Guinness and Jazz sounds good Ian, Good group photo I don't seem to have a good one like that but here is one of me struggling through Buddy Rich's West side story last year. I don't know if that is the look of concentration or fear Edited May 9, 2015 by deepbass5 Quote

However, the Dave Grusin version/charts for 'West Side Story' is absolute fear!! Two BB gigs this weekend, I am sure some photos will turn up after the weekend. Quote
