so, Im thinking that I should save up for a fender but I like od looks and scratch plate designs, anyway, does anyone know if these are copied or sold like the custom tele? I have a Hondo II with a single humbucker and it is crazy good, I just think this is my dream bass... Id love a natural finish one of these bad boys. Is this more likely going to be a project, or are these around on the market?

Was... Past tense. Dang, I'll have to keep and eye and ear open for one of these in a natural finish.

Also, that maple neck with block inlays And tele headstock, wow.

Love the green/teal one. Never seen one before so presumably they're rare. What Fender model was it? How long ago was it discontinued?

Peterbuilt makes those still.

I'm waiting to see how the Peterbuilt threads pans out as I think he might have some things on at the moment. - Im not massively comfortable with commissions to a stranger in a foreign land just on positive rep alone.

I cant find that neck, even on Allparts, but it looks like whatever I do to get something like that, it'll be fair expensive unless I go with the modern player Tele as Plunger suggested.
