spinynorman
I haven't played bass since October last year. I don't know if I will go back to it, but I don't really want to sell anything in case I do. Is there any possible problems from amps and other gear not being used for long periods? They're stored in the house, in warm, dry conditions, so no damp or anything like that. I have thought of batteries in pedals leaking, is there anything else?
Les
I didn't play for 14 years. When I dug everything out for my first rehearsal after that break everything worked.
Maude
In a warm dry house I can't see there being a problem with just leaving it, although as a speaker is a moving part it wouldn't hurt to give it something to do every once in a while, maybe play some music through it a couple times a year. I had an old Peavey Black Widow make horrible scratchy noises after being left for a few years, it was a bit cold where it was though. essexbasscat
Maybe just store things in bags to prevent dusk going in through vents
