Donnyboy
If anyone's interested , the long awaited bridge pickup is now available again . I bought mine earlier today here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Entwistle-JBXN-Neodymium-pickup-for-bass-guitar-/231141252091
chrismuzz
Nice one man! I already have both my PJ basses loaded with these amazing pickups but I'm strangely excited that more people will be able to get hold of some!
Donnyboy
I'm happy to report that I put this into my Fenix Jazz which already has the neo Entwistle neck pickup - it was a doddle ( sort of, there's loads of earth wires ) using the Kiogon Fancy Dan solderless wiring kit. I took it to a practice last week, and, without any prompting, both the drummer and guitarist complimented the sound of the bass . I must say I thought it did sound awesome. I'd happily recommend these super value for money pickups.
Ticktock
Thanks for the headsup, just went and bought one. I put the cheaper P and J in a cheap fretless I got recently. They might be cheap to buy but they are rather good indeed. The incoming neo I will put in my Ibanez EDB 550 as I feel that the stock pups aren't so great. SD licensed types. cachao
I think even the non-neo are good.
Conan
I got sick of waiting for the JBNXs and put Toneriders in my J&D jazz... But my MIM J might benefit from a change of pickups...
