Musicman fretless fingerboard, what material?

Hello All,

I'm selling a Musicman Stingray 5 fretless and a potential buyer wants to know if the fingerboard is made of pau ferro.
Any idea how I can find this out? The serial number is 52417.

I'm pretty sure you're right, however, you could try the Ernie Ball, MM website, I think they have a resource for this sort of thing.

It's usually Pau Ferro. The SR5 page on the MM website says this:
Fretted - maple or rosewood;
Fretless - Pau Ferro with or without inlaid fretlines;
Stealth - Ebony Fretted or Fretless

If it's rosewood - it's an extremely light piece. For pau ferro that's pretty normal - All in all a very nice fretless fingerboard.
