£475

I'm selling my Yamaha BB1024 purely because I'm not gigging so much now, and doubt I will be for the forseeable future, so I don't really need a collection of gear around me - reminding me of days gone by ;)

This one isn't getting the use it deserves.

Bought from GAK in 2013 this bass is beautiful to look at, with a stunning gloss lacquer finish over very nicely grained wood on the body. It's completely unmarked and comes with a Hiscox hard case which is also in very good condition.

Not really a lot more to say about these instruments really. It sings with a rich tone when needed, thumps like a P when needed, and will burp like a Jazz when needed.

Our bathroom scales indicate 4kg.

I'm looking for £475 for the bass and Hiscox hardcase. I'm based near Brighton.

Some pictures (excuse the spotlight reflections & shadows, my photographic studio is being used as storage while we are rebuilding our house ;):

Just for the record, the tone on these is lovely.....ive had many complements on the tone of mine, and I can honestly it isn't my playing :-) a pleasure to play too! GLWTS

Hi Darren, as tempting as your bass is - and it is lovely - I'm looking to thin the herd at the moment really.

Is the nut really 47mm?

Thanks

Geoff

I doubt it, the 5 string version is only 42mm!
