PRICE DROP - £5000 ono

Hi guys,

For sale is my stunning series 1 Fodera MGS #46, signed by Joey Lauricella.

I picked this instrument up last year and it is honestly the best bass I have ever had the pleasure of playing and owning.

This bass is in 100% as new condition, It is ABSOLUTELY MINT . It has been cared for and maintained meticulously. Recently oiled and restrung with the Fodera 100-28 set.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Specs of the bass can be found here:

The series II, shown in the link (virtually the same bass) features a madagascan kingwood board and a madrone burl top -

My bass being the series 1, features a pau ferro board and a box elder burl top.

Comes with original hard case - also in perfect condition, with case candy
Thanks for reading,

Peter

Really quite rare to see one with Joey's signature as well. You sometimes see Vic Wooten signed ones (usually on the control panel cover) but not anything from one of the two luthier partners.

That is lush. I play 5's less than 50% of the time so can't really justify the purchase, but that is truly lovely. GLWTS.

It's funny, I don't really consider it a 5, as the business end is just a low E rather than a low B getting in the way. It's easier to 'ignore' the high C if it's not appropriate for your gig :)

That's a genuine "first world problem" there Si if ever I heard one. Spend £6k on a bass and ignore one of the strings :-)

Haha, you know what I mean ;).....find it easier to get to grips with than a Low B 5 is my point :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. Actually, think I'll order myself a Fodera 5 string so I can just use the B as a thumb-rest :-)

I'm putting this up again,

A long and short story - my http://fodera.smugmu...V/Newborn-1060/ was recently finished and landed in my hands last thursday (2nd)..

Originally, I decided I would hold sell my MGS to front the rest of the money together for the custom but some last minute wizardry and I managed to get the money together for the custom and still able to hold on to this ..

The new imperial came and surpassed all expectation..

Following a brief few words with Christian H .. I had a stark realisation that I really don't need two imperials with a close spec like this so its a conundrum that lies somewhere between 'lucky/fortunate' and 'immoral/unnecessary'..

.. So really, I'm freeing up some funds here.. I'm in no rush to sell but would prefer a cash sale as I have my eyes on another instrument..

The only things of interest are:

FODERA 4's and 6's (would love a deluxe). ALLEVA 5's. VINTAGE FENDER (60's P's).

Apologies for the essay, just wanted clarification for anybody wondering!

Thanks guys
