njr911 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 My new (2001) P Bass is Sky Blue. Looks like a cross between surf green and faded sonic blue. All great colours Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Yellow, or orange, or seafoam green( like attitude bass). Other than that , no idea Quote

I guess it's had a refin to be that sparkley though. Thanks for that, nice curve ball. I hadn't even considered a metalflake finish \m/ . [/quote] I can't see the video as it's blocked in work. But I'm guessing that's the Edgar Willis bass. I get to show off my Steve Harris / Edgar Wills P again! Quote
miles'tone Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Oh that's stunning! 👍 Is it a Steve Harris sig with an anodised pickguard added? Yep you're right, that vid is the Edgar Willis P bass. Edited May 20, 2015 by miles'tone Quote

Geek99 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Sunburst With tort - accept no substitute But what colour tort ? (Runs for cover) Quote
miles'tone Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) Thanks, but this is very much a tortless, yet mintyful project. Edited May 21, 2015 by miles'tone Quote
Delberthot Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 My personal favourites would be either Daphne Blue or Dakota Red Quote

I'm being drawn towards Taos Turquoise actually, which is very much like aged Daphne. I've received my mint guard now and it's looking really nice on my Candy Apple Red P. Cool it's gonna work on both bodies 👍. Quote
Si600 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Anything but sunburst and tort I painted a guitar in a dark metallic green, I think it was a Vauxhall colour, but I've not seen many dark green basses so British Racing Green? Quote
