ChunkyMunky
I've got 3 packs of DRs coming and I'm tempted to do a recorded comparison for all of you lovely folks. I've got a pack of DR Lo-Riders, DR Fat Beams and a pack of DR HiBeams. I'll be doing them on my Musicman Bongo 5Hs going into a POD. Any hints and tips? What kind of clips would y'all want? I'll delete the thread once the ball is rolling.
MiltyG565
Do it! How do you plan to record/upload? In my (limited) previous experience, the recorded track sounds different after uploading - especially on YouTube. It happens on SoundCloud too, but it's not as bad as YouTube. ChunkyMunky
I'll probably do a bunch of clips in Logic, some with drums for the sake of context, I'm not sure what I'll upload them on. Also, just checked your blog out.
redstriper
I think soundcloud accepts wav files. Are the strings all round wounds?

[/quote] They do accept WAV files, but it always seems to sound slightly different when I play it back on SoundCloud, compared to the original. I have no idea why. Maybe I'm imagining it?
