4 candles Posted May 20, 2015 Share Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) For sale is my Fender custom Shop relic precision bass n limited production model made for the Frankfurt music show Featuring an extra-light two-piece Ash body- a world away from the very heavy Ash that Fender often used in in this period. extremely well made and lightweight at 8lbs The neck is one-piece quarter sawn Maple with a custom Pino Palladino profile measuring .860" at the 1st fret and .985" at the 12th fret. And it feels great! The fingerboard radius and fret wire are vintage spec. compete with tweed custom shop case and candy And as you'd expect with, a Custom Shop '59-'62 P-Bass pickup it sounds as good as it feels and looks! karlfer Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 A few months back, I bought my amazing Road Worn Jazz from Mark. Whilst I was enjoying his hospitality, he let me play this bass. It's looks are simply stunning. It is also, the best, bar none, Precision I have played in 40 years. I really wish I could raise the funds for this, but I can't. Somebody is going to be very lucky and get probably the finest Fender of any type that I have had the pleasure of playing. Mark is a top guy as well. Chiliwailer Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 I've always loved the look of the Copper finished Fenders, and yours is a killer - IMO it's a much nicer Relic than the one in GAK and £600 cheaper, sweet GLWTS, looks like an awesome Precison.
