So the 5th string tuner is where the string-tree used to be?

How do you rotate it?

Unless it's tuned using that screw sticking out of the bridge...which presumably also doubles up as a strap pin, making me wonder whether the string is therefore tuned by how high you wear the bass.

The bridge is a Wilkinson 4+1. I have one, as it happens. And no, it's not a strap pin too. Aren't those those recessed strap things that you stick a prongy straplock into?
