A modern version of the classic Jazz bass commissioned last year and a prototype fretless 5er with a 3 pickup, multi-switchable option linked into a filter preamp that I discovered at the recent Moffat bass bash and persuaded Alan to sell to me. I'll do some better pics when the sun decides to show itself in the Lancashire area. Don't hold your breath... Not just pictures! [/quote] Essentially you can have pretty much any combination of the three. The central pickup is a humbucker, the neck is a single coil and the bridge is an overwound single coil. Humbucker goes into one filter stack, the other two can be soloed or combined in series or parallel into the other filter stack and the blend takes care of the mix.
