Musket Fuzz users - Help needed

I just got a musket clone and i noticed that the Mids and the Focus controls have litlle efect do the sound. Is that that subtle or is there a problem with the pedal?
With Mids, I can only tell the difference from minimum to 12 o´clock. With Focus, i can oly tell the difference from 3 to 5 o´clok.
Did any of you guys experienced something similar?

I built my own and only have that to go on, but those controls are quite subtle, but they do make a difference.

I did try a guitar (as opposed to a bass) through it when I first built it, but can't remember if they had a stronger effect with that or not.

I think both mids and focus are quite subtle but still noticeable when you go from min to max. I might attempt to record a demo of Musket in near future, so you will be able to compare the original to your clone.
