Number6
Arrange with a few BC'ers through PM to deliver it to the person.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Yeah, the link is faulty . I echo most of what's been said on here . I do wonder if the basschatter has any health issues ?? Hope it gets sorted. Tbh, we have a great mod team , and I think someone will probably take it for safe keeping . If there's no trace , maybe a bass relay or win it at a bass bash. Guest bassman7755
Give the bass to a local school or something, or sell it and give the money to charity.
ChunkyMunky
Before the OP does anything with the bass, I think every avenue should be exhausted first. From what has been posted here, I think we're a bit sort of that yet.
This! Is there no other avenue regarding contacting the owner? Via Facebook or something? bubinga5
this is the last message i got. Hi Andrew "Could you pack the bass (i'll pay for the packing and your time for doing it) and if i arrange a courier to pick it up could we do that?" Cheers Geoff i replied with. "yeah i can do that buddy. but what shall i pack it in.? I'm a bit worried about sending the bass without a hard case.." my pm is dated May 12th.nothing since. HowieBass
Nip to your local Halfords and see if they have any cardboard boxes that their bikes will have been delivered to the store in - I've read more than once that these make great bass mailing boxes. TheGreek
Why should Andrew be footing the bill for the courier?? If he's done somebody a favour, picked up a bass for them and stored it for several months at his home (and inconvenience) surely the responsibility for collecting it now lies with the "owner". As to whether Andrew has the right to sell it, surely the item has now been "abandoned" so is, in effect, Andrew's?? I'd send a message along the lines of "you have x amount of time to arrange for collection after which time i will dispose of it in any manner I see fit.." So come on Geoff, if you want the bass get your finger out and make arrangements to get it out of his home.
ambient
I would not be responsible for packaging a bass that wasn't mine. What's the guys name ? Someone might know him outside of here.

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I know beta funk from various conversations on here. He does come across as a really nice bloke . I think he may have moved house! Apparently , he used to live not too far from me. However, over the last couple of weeks, he was selling a couple of basses , and that was from Lincoln( I think /istbc).
Thunderpaws
Maybe Geoff bought it when he was drunk one night and can't actually remember doing it. Then this guy (Op) contacts him saying he has his bass. But Geoff doesn't want to be a cock so just goes along with it for a while til he remembers what the Op is on about.
