drdave85 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Lovely Status Washburn bass. Solid mahogany body, 24 fret rosewood neck. 2x Status jazz style pickups and status preamp. Gold knobs, tuners and badass style bridge. Stamped 'tone wood' on the neck, I believe this is a super rare guitar from the period when Status was working alongside washburn. Possibly one of the last basses tgey made together. Regardless of the history, she sounds sweet and plays so easy. Looking to get about £215 for a quick sale. Pics on request as I can't seem to work out how to add them here!

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Can barely see the photos on the link. It may be just me. From what I can see, it doesn't look like the headless model. Relieved if it's headed , as times are hard .
drdave85 Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Bump, I still have this. This is a real player and a bargain price.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Just had a closer look . I believe this is not a Washburn status , but a Washburn Mercury bass. Washburn status were only made headless iirc.
drdave85 Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/141691353798?nav=SELLING_ACTIVE Bass now for sale on eBay for anyone interested. As far as I can tell this is one of the last washburn basses factory fitted with status pickups and preamp.
