Modman Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I'd reccomend an Ibanez SR series basses, especially the premium ranges and upwards. They're light, small and thin with great hardware and pickups. Quote

Didn't like the string spacing but that's another story. Quote

Paul S Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Danelectro Longhorn basses are quite small-bodied and unfeasibly lightweight. Quote

Machines Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Agreed on Corvettes. Here's mine with it's relatively larger bodied friends. Quote
fretmeister Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 The Fender Urge is a fair bit smaller and lighter than the jazz it's based on. Quote
Machines Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 The absolute opposite of small bodied award goes to the Yamaha BB series. It wasn't an acronym for Broad Bass without justification. Quote
Kev Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Vote for Warwick Thumb NT, Warwick Streamer, Roscoe LG. Quote
2elliot Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Pedulla Mvp, Tune Bass Maniac, Warwick Thumb, Yamaha Motion. Quote
pantherairsoft Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Rim Marseer is probably the shortest (end of neck - end of body wise) I've played, but is very wide. So depends on what part of 'small' you're looking for. As above, Roscoe LG is very petite. Some of the old Steinberger stuff. Zeta Crossover. Status Streamline. There's loads of little uns' out there. Quote
Treb Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 MusicMan Sterling bass. Smalller body than P & J basses, weighs less too. Quote
Andyjr1515 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Warwick Thumb NT. it's round, it's tiny but it has mass and resulting gravitas from the very heavy Bubinga wood Quote
