I'd reccomend an Ibanez SR series basses, especially the premium ranges and upwards. They're light, small and thin with great hardware and pickups.

This is a good shout. I played a 1205 recently and the body was very small and ergonomic. Didn't like the string spacing but that's another story.

Now that you mention it, I actually own a 1205 and I absolutely love it. My previous bass had small string spacing so i felt at home with it.

So yeah, two thumbs up for the 1205 :)

Fernandes Nomad? It's certainly small, and rounish at least.

The absolute opposite of small bodied award goes to the Yamaha BB series. It wasn't an acronym for Broad Bass without justification.

Rim Marseer is probably the shortest (end of neck - end of body wise) I've played, but is very wide. So depends on what part of 'small' you're looking for.

As above, Roscoe LG is very petite. Some of the old Steinberger stuff. Zeta Crossover. Status Streamline.

There's loads of little uns' out there.
