paul_5
We (Slander) played Darwen Music Live this weekend, and was pleasantly surprised that the soundguy recognised my DHA kit and enthused about it. Nice not to have to convince them that it's an amazing feed to the PA.
Lozz196
Think it`s the design that puts `em off - a shiny new pedal with the exact same controls none of them would bat an eyelid. Quality gear though - even if they do need to be viewed through sunglasses.
Chrismanbass
see i just lie and say that the DI out on my head is really hissy and horrible and that my sansamp is much nicer never had someone call me out on it yet
paul_5
I use the DHA exclusively for PA feeds, as the DI on my ageing SWR head is prone to damage from phantom power. Should really get that sorted...
Chrismanbass
exactly (except you don't need phantom power to use an amp DI) coat duly gotten

paul_5
This. I've heard of similar models to mine being fried when sound engineers erroneously put phantom power through the wrong channel. The old SWRs really don't like it. Yet again, DHA saves the day.
Chrismanbass
ahhhh i see fair enough never heard of that all the swrs i've come across have been on fire or about to catch fire (seriously i've had an swr 900 start smoking midway through a yellowjackets gig before)
DHA
This.
i put a couple of protection diodes in my Di's so they can't be damaged if someone switches it on at the desk
skidder652003
VT 2 pedal saved my bacon a few times now, after amps have died, just Di to desk, sounds great! A lot easier than carrying a spare amp. Edited June 19, 2015 by skidder652003
uncle psychosis
One of the reasons I got rid of my DHA pedal was because I got fed up of explaining to sound guys it wasn't going to damage their kit. They all thought it was some homebrew thing I'd chucked together. Great gear, but Dave could really do with sorting out the aesthetics.
