Andyjr1515
This is probably threaded elsewhere but I couldn't find it...well done bluejay and all others who have put in the time for the page in Bass Guitar Magazine - excellent stuff! discreet
Is it on here somewhere, or do we have to buy BGM to read it?
Silvia Bluejay
Thanks guys! Tthe June issue has the first 'real' article about Basschat. I had a look around last month. If you're not subscribed, the paper copy can usually be found at the larger newsagents near train stations etc., but less often on the high street. seashell
And a really cool woman on the cover as well!! Looking forward to getting my copy :-)
CamdenRob
Mrs C has recently bought me a subscription, so I'm very much looking forward to the BC column every month.
ezbass
I actually renewed my subscription, but an electronic one this time. 6 months subscription = £1.66 (ish) a copy.
Silvia Bluejay
Yup, subscribing to the electronic copy is cheaper because of the lower handling/delivery costs, and the content is the same as the paper version. I still like to turn real, tangible pages, though

Same for Guitarist, Classic Rock, etc.

seashell
Really enjoyed this month's issue. I read it over coffee and cake in a garden centre tea room, thus making me eligible for the Basschat Old Bats club. Bluejay's article was great, and I also enjoyed the Divinity Roxx inteinterview. Plus the description of Steve Lawson as 'FX Warlock' made me smile.
Silvia Bluejay
Issue 119 will soon hit the shelves!
seashell
I see Steve Lawson is ' FX Sith Lord' this time! Joel's going to run out of magical epithets soon!
sandblast
Seem to be having problems viewing the instructional videos via the ios version of the Bass Guitar magazine app. For the last two issues the videos are just not appearing for me, anybody else? The Paul Geary and Philip Mann articles, in particular, i'm finding very useful. I can't even view them on my PC using the Pocketmags reader anymore. Emailed support but they've not responded yet. sandblast
They did get back and the advice was to delete and redownload the issues effected by this - this months Stu Hamm and last months Divinity Roxx issues - and this i did but the video content is still not available. All my past issues are functioning normally. Thanks for the advice, though.
Silvia Bluejay
Keep pestering them, then, until they find a solution for you.
sandblast
I must admit that i find contacting them and contacting them exhausting. I'd be quite happy if they just put the videos up on the BGM website or on their YouTube page.
Silvia Bluejay
They may not heve permission to do so, at least for a certain amount of time. Don't lose heart.

James Nada
Just picked up the new issue, had a flick through and I'm looking forward to reading it. I have one gripe, which occurs regularly; in the review section, there are often reviews where there isn't a picture of the whole bass in one shot. Making it difficult to judge the overall aesthetic of the reviewed bass.
