alembic63
Well, got dragged kicking and screaming to see Take That yesterday by the missus, must admit I wasn't expecting much but OMG.....I f....g loved it. The band was brilliant especially the drummer, didn't catch has the bass players name, think it was Lee something ,left handed guy with a cool looking black Ricky. Wish I was going again tonight...... Truckstop
Lee Pomeroy! Yeah he's a cool cat. He's had the Take That gig for a few years I think. He's got a great style and is as cool as anything. His brothers a great guitar player also. He plays around here quite a lot.
louisthebass
I remember when he used to work at Rockbottom in West Croydon back in the late 80's / early 90's!
alembic63
Lee Pomeroy, yes that's the guy. felt sorry for Ella Henderson who was supporting, she's got a great voice but the sound was shocking, typical support act sound, all Boom Boom Boom. Anyone know who the drummer was ?

KevB
Lee Pomeroy, plays leftie but with strings upside down. Great player, seen him with It Bites a couple of times and in Steve Hackett's backing band. Been gigging with Take That for a fair while too. Edit - beaten to it by our friend up north Thread merge? Graham
Pomperoy sometimes plays with a local covers act, we played after them at a completely dead "festival" a couple of years ago; superb player and a hard act to follow
chardbass
The drummer is Donovan Hepburn. He's pretty solid to say the least!!! A lovely player.
The Admiral
I've posted this before, but he's a top bloke as well as being a great player, and anyone who can play a double neck bass and 12 string strung upside down is clearly a player! Top tips about how to get quality gigs as a session guy too : http://www.musicradar.com/news/bass/lee-pomeroy-an-insiders-view-of-the-session-world-594755
