Hey all.
Got a cab here I want to sell. Haven't seen many like this and can't find much information on it. It's an ampeg 8x8 cab. I think it's from the early 2000s or late 90s.
Selling because I want a lighter more modern cab like a barefaced or something.
When I got this I had an ampeg 8x10 and this beat it easily in every way for me. More punchy yet seemed to go lower due to the ports. And easier to move and handle.
Cab is used but is in fairly good condition. I can send more pics to anyone interested.
I'm in Stoke on Trent and would prefer pick up. But I'm willing to work with people and get this cab wherever. So.....
I'd be willing to deliver it myself or meet someone within a 1-2 ish hour radius of my home for a small fee to cover petrol and time.
I'd also be happy to pack it up and send it off through a courier but this would be at cost.

That's unusual. I don't think ive seen a speaker layout like that one before.

Super cool cab mate!

Traynor did something similar with a 8x10 or a 6x10 (can't remember) and the bass player in Death From Above 1979 loves them.

I think Traynor did a 9x8 and a 8x10 with the speakers arranged like this. and ampeg v9 cabs are 9x10 in similar orientation.
They're awesome but the barefaced cabs......
