landwomble Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hi all. Picking up an Eden 115 cab next week. I'd like to be able to turn down/off the tweeter so was thinking of fitting a pot to do this. Anyone have any suggestions on type of potentiometer? Quote

Count Bassy Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Depends what the tweeter is. Piezo tweeters, because of the incredibly high impedance, are easy to control with a pot and a limiting resistor. If its a coil driven tweeter at 8 Ohms or so then yes, you need an I-pad. Quote
