darren Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) This bass is practically brand new and has no dings or scratches. I bought it new a few weeks ago and the stock strings are still zingy. I've been so impressed with this bass that I've just bought a BB1024 in the same colour. There are two things I'd like to mention. The neck pocket isn't as tight on the G string side compared to the E string side. You have to get close up to see it (pictured). Probably notice this sort of thing more on non-pickguard basses. Also you can feel the grain in the nato laminate closest to E string if you rub your finger lightly along it. You don't notice it when playing. I might be being a little picky pointing these things out but I want to be as open as possible. The bass sounds great and is so impressive it convinced me to buy a BB1024. I doubt you will get a better bass than a BB424 for £200. I thought I was a fender precision guy but this bass has changed that. Just looking for cash please. Manchester pickup. Many thanks, Darren Edited June 13, 2015 by darren
