kevbass
I know some of you may say it lacks groove and may even say it sounds like a guitar piece on bass but I think its tastefully done, and its the first time Ive really heard a ritter being played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwtcDQh-d2s&NR=
Kiwi
I love the use of suspended chords and inversions. I have a feeling that one will eventually make its way onto a few bass playing syllabuses.

Ou7shined
That was sublime. Thanks. Here's another version where you can see his fingers a bit better. Rich
Very pleasant. Loved the reply that said "this guys good but without les [claypool] this guy wouldnt be anything"... yeah that's right, slap and chords and high register stuff were invented by Les weren't they? Faithless
Nevertheless, it's nice. Nice and not-going-boring. I enjoyed that.

escholl
i've got his cd, the guy is truly amazing. if you look him up on myspace the audio is much better, as far as i can tell on his album he doesn't use any effects other than compression and reverb. not sure why he uses some of the effects he does in his videos, doesn't sound as good by any means. and he's from vermont! win! Hit&Run
I don't normally like 'widdly sh!t', but I thought that sounded OK. Gasp, it could even be used to good effect in a song!
Wooks
Me likes a lot, very tasteful. Great mellow background music
Guest MoJo
I followed the link then had a look at his other stuff on YouTube and it starts to get a bit 'samey' and, dare I say it, boring. Sorry
Gamble
I didn't listen to all of Space Opera, but I quite enjoyed "Thupty Dumpty" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6waS38HBSg...feature=related It made me think of Les Claypool jacked up on steroids! It's cool, but he seems to slip off the groove to me. Might be that it's me not keeping up tho..... Edited August 29, 2008 by Gamble
escholl
If you have a listen on his myspace, i think you'll find the tracks are much better quality/sounding
