This was made two years ago and it's the 'Ball Bass' model and should appeal to fans of the Carl Thompson design. The craftsmanship is exquisite with flawless precision and attention to detail. The bass is incredibly lightweight and balances beautifully. Scale length 32" String spacing: 19mm Nut: 34mm Weight: under 7lbs Top wood: Holly with a walnut veneer Body: swamp ash Neck is a 'set neck' maple and wenge Fingerboard is maple Bartolini pickups with a John East Circuit: treble, middle (set at 800hz) and volume. Pickup selection via the switch. The bass has never been gigged and is in spotless condition.
