Never heard of this, but on closer inspection it is legit - just a very rare custom colour. Can anyone confirm?

The first part of your suggestion is a reasonable description of how 80s Fenders were viewed by many in that keyboard laden era.

I love it. It's nice and jazzy (not like the bass . . . like the often eccentric musical genre!). Reminds me of a racecar.


I don't love the weight 11lbs is borderline boat anchor in my book. Too heavy for a 4 . . . especially at that price.

I like the finish. The white plate looks cheapo on that, though.

What's interesting is that I didn't know this was a Fender finish - but I'm familiar with seeing this idea used on various Corts from the same era:



Really like the 3 tone PRS style.

I don't know whether I like it or not. I definitely don't like the gap between the neck and body though! They should have spent less time sodding about in the paint shop and more time training the 3 year old with the router!
