andyonbass Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Check out this new lightweight Eden amp http://www.eden-electronics.com/info/pr/pr_wtx260.asp Cool eh, especially the voltage sensing feature, could make buying from the 'states a viable option I wonder if they're planning a more powerful model Quote
peted Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I've had a look at this amp before and on paper it sounds very cool. The Bass Gallery have a price for it at £749 though! The value for money doesn't sound good compared to the Little Mark 250, which you can get from the Bass Centre for £299 in the sale. The switching voltage does sound very tasty if you happen to travel internationally. Quote
s_u_y_* Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Whoa... if I didn't have myself a MB LMII already, I'd be seriously GAS-ing after one of these! But the price tag is a bit of a shocker tho. Quote

Even taking into account the Gallery are at the upper end of pricing, its still gonna be pricey. The US retail is $899, which is roughly £450 so if you add 20% for tax and vat its still nearly £550. Shipping wouldn't be too expensive at that weight though. Small enough to bung in your hand luggage if you were flying home from the states though! Quote
pete.young Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 The Euphonic Audio iAmp Micro 300 is under 3lbs, has two channels and can be picked up for $600 in the US. Someone on Basschat ordered one from the UK, but I can't remember who it was. Quote

Rumble Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 It is! There's a little switch right next to the mains in point. Quote
