seddy20
hi recently i have been wanting to buy a maple neck for my bass (fender MIM p bass) and i was wondering if the trussrod goes through the neck into the body or if all i have to do to get it off is to remove the screws and then the neck plate at the back of the bass? Machines
That's the one - it may be quite a tight fit so after the screws are out be prepared to give it a bit of a tug !
seddy20
o fanx a lot i thought that i would have to remove the trussrod out of the body but in that case it seems easy. i was wondering what it needs to be finished with so that it doesnt mark as soon as i put it on

Mr. Foxen
Remember to take the strings off, kinda important, and look out for the bit of card or plastic in the pocket (maybe), might want that.
