Funky Dunky
Where do you buy yours? I never ever see them in shops up here, not even in WH Smith, and it makes me sad because it's something I would buy fairly often (although not often enough to subscribe). Never any problems finding between four and six guitar magazines on the shelves, but absolutely hee haw for bass. Which are the best publications for bass guitar? Bobthedog
I buy mine through the magazine store on my iPad. Once I have read the literally 2-3 articles that interest me, I can delete it.
Silvia Bluejay
I have seen BGM at WH Smiths but only at big ones, near railway stations. Clearly the publisher is happier distributing directly to subscribers than newsagents.
molan
I live in a relatively small town (pop 10,000 or so) and WHS always has BGM on the shelf. Maybe the store manager is a bassist
Lozz196
It used to be on sale in a small newsagents where I am, but that stopped so it now gets delivered, courtesy of my subscription.
CamdenRob
I have a subscription now thanks to Mrs C Although before that my local corner shop stocked it.
Roland Rock
It always seems to be in the city WH Smiths when I don't want it, but never in the airport ones when I want one Edited June 8, 2015 by Roland Rock

TheGreek
One of our local newsagents will order and hold it for no additional cost. Check if yours will do the same..
TheGreek
I've just been reading a copy - am I the only person who struggles with the size of the print and the font?? I find that the print is too light (black on white) and when it's white on colour it's even harder to read. As for the size of the script, why so small?? The copy I'm currently reading (April 2015) has loads of pictures which wouldn't suffer if the the print was a bit larger. IMHO the articles would benefit from being at least size 12. Unfortunately these, minor, points are spoiling my enjoyment...
seashell
Yes I tend to agree , Mick. The text could be bigger and the pictures could often be smaller.
Skybone
Only WH Smiths carry it up in this neck of the woods.
Funky Dunky
As a qualified journo and an amateur bassist, I would cut somebody's throat for a job at that mag. I would seriously LOVE that.

Silvia Bluejay
Guys and gals, quick update: I have mentioned the 'thin and small' typeface problem to Joel, and he is looking into doing something about it. Watch this space
megallica
I was struggling to find this magazine in WH Smiths so subscribe now. I know it gets a fair amount of criticism on here but I really enjoy the interviews and articles.
