Ampeg SVP Pro, Matrix GT-800FX, Boschma Rack *SOLD* £575

I'm selling this amp and a few other items to raise funds for the money pit that is my house.

I've put this rig together to make the ultimate amp for my Barefaced Big Baby 2 (also for sale). The Ampeg SVP contains 5 valves that provide the classic grit and warmth of the SVT, without the need for a forklift to move it. Combined with the awesome Matrix power amp, you have a huge amount of versatility in terms of cab options etc. for example you can run up to 4 8ohm cabs, or bridge the amp for 800w into and 8ohm load, as I have been doing with the BB2.

It is an excellent combination that sounds great, looks great, and only weighs around 10kg in the new Boschma 2u rack. I'd let it go for £550 in a 3U Spider flight case as I wouldn't mind keeping hold of the Boschma.

I did the same thing for ages. Though I know have an Alembic FX-1 in my rack, using the SVP Pro through the fx loop, in to a Barefaced Compact (used to have a Big One). So very similar rigs.

It's the nuts. A real cure for GAS.

Sounds like an excellent rig, it's amazing what those cabs can do when driven properly.

After some thought, I'd be after £250 for the Ampeg in the Spider rack case, and £300 for the Matrix in the original packaging.
