They aren't from the most recent GT or GT-47 sets, that's clear. Do they have either the rough-textured surface, or the gut-twist effect surface? Or are they baby's-bum smooth?! The clamp looks plastic--the loop is smooth plastic--the playing surface is a rough textured surface. The E string is pretty thick. Hope this helps. In which case I had never ever even had them on my bass and had bought them from another reputable basschatter keeponehandloose if I remember well. Having tried the GT47s, which have "wrapped A and E", I can only assume that these were one of the first incarnations of Lamberts, probably where they got their good name from.
