Highfox
Been getting more and more into chunky bass necks and been Gassing for a 50's Classic for a while now. I already have 2 early 70's Fender P's that I love, but couldn't resist this on colour weight and also the chunkier neck.. I'd say I got lucky as I managed to pick it up new for a secondhand price as the shop are selling off their Fender gear as their supply contract with them has come to an end. The sad news is it was one in and one out for me so I sold off my CIJ 51 RI. CamdenRob
Loving the garden photoshoot... Great looking bass, I like those gold pickguards on the 50s style instruments.
discreet
Nice bass! Edited June 11, 2015 by discreet
Marc S
I'm not a fan of the older, more chunky P necks I veered more to slimmer necks, and back again to find the Jazz profile neck is much more suited to me However, if the chunkier neck suits you - it's your bass and your choice I must say the colour is superb, and the plate, control knobs and maple board add to it hugely Really nice looking bass Having not been bothered about roadworn / relic basses before I got my RW Jazz I'm a complete convert now. You'll find you're not quite so precious if your bass already has a few scratches and dings and any more just add to the basses mojo Enjoy your NBD EDIT: Great photoshoot BTW I think my wife would be sold on that bass, cos of the location, flowers etc PS. Can you come & take similar shots of my basses? Edited June 10, 2015 by Marc S
