dannybuoy Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Practically brand new, just tested at home for a bit. No scratches or velcro, comes with original box. This is a great little warm tubey overdrive pedal, similar to the BJFE Blueberry, and designed by the very same chap. Only reason for selling is I already have the Bearfoot Blueberry and they sound so similar that I don't need to keep both! If you're going for a board full of mini pedals, I think this is the best 1590A sized bass overdrive pedal out there, and they are out of stock pretty much everywhere at the moment too. lee650 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Any idea how this compares to the solid gold beta OD?
dannybuoy Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 The Beta has a big dollop of bass boost (too much if you ask me) and rolls off a lot of top end (again, too much for me!). The distortion character is a bit more raspy, whereas the Hooker's Green sounds smoother, more like tube distortion. Bump!
