This is a unique short scale bass with a lot of outstanding features: Amazing Abalone purfling, wooden inlays, MIDI interface, Piezo element, chambered body (very lightweight), 30" shortscale, flat board (like a classical guitar), etc etc. The construction of this model was inspired by Carles Benavente's specs (look at YT for some clips), but with a slightly wider spacing. Playing this bass is pure fun and will open up new dimensions for innovative players. Currently strung E-E you can play this like a guitar (1 octave lower) or apply a regular B-C set you will have a surprising low end in a easy to handle package.

Great Piccolo Bass from Jerzy Drozd: deep and articulated sound with magnetic pickups and clear, expressive and equilibrated sound with the huge piezo. Both signals can give a lot of possibilities from unpliugged pop and blues to classical jazz and of course latin and gipsy music.
The midi pickup has great is very quick to process the strings signal and using it with expression pedals and strings sound or pad the bass become an orchestra
