Sambrook Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) I like this bass so much, I've owned it twice! However, it's sound is duplicated by my Ibanez, and too many basses distract me from actually learning, so here it is... I tend to think of it as a poor man's Hyperbass, and if you look at it sideways and squint, you'll see what I mean. I refinished the body in Danish Oil, flattened and epoxied the fingerboard, lowered the action, and changed the vol knob to tone. The finish is a bit rough in places, as I was too impatient, but it's well in keeping with the overall aesthetic. It feels and sounds really, really good- harmonics are very strong. It has a new set of Elite groundwounds on. £150 plus postage, or I'm willing to meet up somewhere reasonable. Any questions, please ask. Cheers...... Edited August 6, 2015 by Sambrook

Grangur Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015
Cash preferred, but whaddya got?
Interesting comment you make about too many basses distract you from learning. I recon that's my problem too. I had a Wishbass once. They're good dun and deliver a great sound.
Sambrook Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Well, it's still for sale. Had some interest, but nothing has developed so far.... I still have a deep hankering for the Prosebass you got from me a while ago (he hints...)
Sambrook Posted June 23, 2015 Author Posted June 23, 2015 No, no truss rod, and it has never moved...
Sambrook Posted June 29, 2015 Author Posted June 29, 2015 Bump for a fine fretless ( and no charge for the alliteration )
