I like the look of this -

Apparently it'll be about £39.

Yeah, I don't think it's actually in stock though, just available to pre-order.

If it works on the Low B then I'll have one.

None of the others do. At least not properly.

Same here.

Anyone else read the thread title and thought someone had uploaded a clip of the Polytune?

:D

To be fair it does make some electronic noise when active and using a daisy chain power supply. I could make a clip if you like.

My mini noir works perfect on the low B - just not in polyphonic mode, but none of the others work in polyphonic mode on bass either on the mini.

I think this thread was started first! ;)

That aside, it's a bit pricey given that the Korg clip on (and the tiny one from Planet Waves) come in at under £15...?

Are they any good though? I have a Fender one and it's rubbish... it doesn't pick up low B and it's interpretation of "in tune" is dubious at best.

Good point, they're both fine for standard 4 string and drop D (when I compare against a Polytune stomp) but I can't say for a low B. If the TC does accurate low B then I can see how the price can be justified. In any case, it looks a lot better than other clips, but I'm a TC fan anyway.

I'm getting one soon from TC to review :)

Good stuff... I maybe should have waited for your review before ordering one
