steviebee74
Hi, Can anybody give me some advice on what is the best tool for adjusting the truss rod on this bass (Sandberg Electra VS4)? Other than telling you to make sure you are using the “correct” tools for the job, Sandberg’s website doesn’t give much clue! It does say however, that the relevant tools should have been provided with the bass – needless to say, they were not! It could just be my eyes, but it looks a bit unusual and I didn’t want to start poking allen-keys in there till after I’d asked around here. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers, Steve

steviebee74
No, but I'll take one this evening when I get home. Thanks
Sammers
If the Electra models have the same truss as German models it's just an allen key. I do remember it being unusually troublesome to the key into the TR socket though. I couldn't tell you what size to use as I haven't adjusted it for a while but it was definitely an allen key and not some bespoke tool
Thunderbird
If I remember rightly it is a 4mm Allen key
